Oribi

This small deer, known as an Oribi, is camouflaged by thread of browns, golds and yellows simulating the grasses of Akagera Park.  She's only 25 inches high at the shoulder and weighs less than 50 pounds.  Oribi graze during the day in small herds of three or four individuals.  Like other animals in the park, they are protected by vigilant rangers.
